This is the most interesting part of being a pilot i.e. to know the various parts of the aircrafts and how every small part helps you to make an aircraft fly.
 

The subject is divided into 3 parts:-
 

·      Principles of Flight:  This part is all about “How the aircraft flies” i.e. the aerodynamics of the flight, it’s flight controls and the stability factors. It talks about the shape and structure of the aircraft and how it affects the flight in detail. It also deals with the shape of the wings, the body of the aircraft, etc.

·      Systems: This part explains the different systems that the aircraft has and the working of it. There are various systems like Air Conditioning, Pressurization of the aircraft, Fuel system, Oxygen system etc. It is of utmost importance to have a sound knowledge of the system.

·      Engines: There are 2 types of engine i.e. Piston Engine and Jet Engine. . Piston engines are usually used for small aircrafts and jet engines for larger commercial jet aircraft. This part talks about how the engines are made and what are the components that are used to make an engine. There are various types of piston engines and jet engines too which you will be learning in this part.
